Womans Initiative (AWI) Marlyne K. Israelian, Ph.D.Dr. Israelian volunteers as the Vice President of the board of the Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool. Bernhard Kempler, Ph.D., ABPPDuring the past five years Dr. Kempler has been working in Bosnia on a project to train public school teachers in art therapy, drama therapy, and group process techniques. The purpose of this program is to give teachers some tools to help heal children, who have been traumatized by the violence of war. Dr. Kempler does this work under the auspices of the ArtReach Foundation of Atlanta, a non profit organization. He is the chairman of the board of ArtReach and the director of programs. He has also worked with teachers and administrators in Little Rock, Arkansas, teaching them how to help heal children from the Katrina trauma and its consequences.
