I have been in private
practice for 25 years working with individuals, couples, and groups. Each
day I am grateful for the meaningful and creative work that my psychotherapy
practice affords. As Irv Polster, a master therapist and superb teacher
of Gestalt Therapy says, "Every person's life is worth a novel."
My work has been informed
by my training and study in Experiential Psychotherapy, in family therapy,
in Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Therapy, in Psychodynamic Group
Psychotherapy, in marital therapy, and in understanding the human experience
through the hundreds of patients I have been privileged to encounter.
Education and training in the field remain compelling to me as new discoveries
in brain behavior, trauma, and the addictive process unfold.
