“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” – Anais Nin
Welcome. My hope is to convey a sense of who I am and how I practice in order to help you determine whether I am a good fit for who you are and what you need.
I believe we are all trying our best and that we are the experts on ourselves. However sometimes life brings us more than we know how to handle, and we may see symptoms of sadness, anxiety, PTSD, and unhealthy or disruptive behavior in ourselves, our children, and our relationships. This can leave us feeling frustrated, hopeless, and isolated. Thankfully, therapy can help us move beyond our pain, fear, and destructive behavior, and toward a greater sense of peace, happiness, and connection.
Please feel free to schedule an initial session or learn more about me and my specialties at emilygreenlpc.com.
I practice Emotion Focused Couples & Family Therapy, EMDR/trauma therapy, Parent Support & Education Groups, and I am a Parent Coordinator and Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor, allowing me to work with children, adults, parents, and couples of intact and divorced/divorcing families. I work to strengthen existing relationships and bonds to reinforce and foster healing and resilience.
